Civil Supplies Office is established to streamline the Public Distribution System among the B.PL/AAY & AP beneficiaries those who are living under below poverty line.The Govt. of Odisha have taken a positive effort for distribution of Rs. 2/- KG rice to the beneficiaries coming under below poverty line under  BPL/AAY and AP scheme. The APL beneficiaries are also availing such benefit of the Govt. Apart from this the families coming under BPL/AAY & A.Ps categories are also availing the benefits of distribution of S.K.Oil & Levy Sugar in each and every month.
